Narendra Modi third most successful PM in Indian history: Ramachandra Guha

New Delhi: Asserting that Narendra Modi's "mystique" rises above the limits of rank and dialect, eminent antiquarian Ramachandra Guha on Wednesday said that the 66-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party pioneer is set to end up noticeably the "third best" Prime Minister of India.

Talking at the continuous London School of Economics (LSE) India Summit 2017 in New Delhi, the 58-year-old student of history said PM Modi's "power" and "Dish Indian vision" put him on an indistinguishable platform from that of Jawaharlal Nehru and his little girl Indira Gandhi.

"We live in a period when Narendra Modi is ready to end up, and maybe as of now is, the third best Prime Minister in Indian history. He is the just a single you would put keeping pace with (Jawaharlal) Nehru and Indira (Gandhi) as far as specialist that he radiates and the Pan-Indian vision he summons," Guha said. Bulk whatsapp marketing

"Since (Jawaharlal) Nehru and Indira (Gandhi) there has been no Indian Prime Minister who has had that expert, that feeling of summon, that mystique, that cross-standing, cross-semantic, cross-provincial interest in India," he said on the main day of the three-day summit which started yesterday and is composed to honor 70 years of India's freedom.
