Delhi LG rejects Arvind Kejriwal's Rs one crore relief to ex-soldier's kin

NEW DELHI: In the principal open conflict with the AAP administration, lieutenant representative Anil Baijal has rejected the Delhi government's choice to give Rs one crore remuneration to the group of ex-serviceman Ram Kishen Grewal, who had conferred suicide over the one rank one benefits issue a year ago.

The LG turned down the proposition, sent by the Delhi bureau for his endorsement, saying it was not in accordance with the state's pay strategy as the passing had not happened in the line of obligation.

In the course of recent months, Baijal has cleared a few choices pending since the residency of previous LG Najeeb Jung. Nonetheless, this dismissal could fuel strains between the legislature and the LG's office. The strain was apparent on Thursday, as boss clergyman Arvind Kejriwal assaulted PM Narendra Modi over the move, calling him "hostile to trooper".

Vice president serve Manish Sisodia said the administration will disagree with the LG once more. "It was a bureau choice and ought to have been regarded," he said.
